Was your website hacked? Was your Web Hosting account compromised and abused?

Are you a victim of hackers taking over your hosting account or website defacement?

Why?
Whether you are on a shared host or you operate and run a VPS/VDS or a Dedicated Server. If the security of your account or website has been compromised by hackers, most likely this is nothing but your own fault. I see this kind of thing on a daily basis where I work answering support tickets for a web hosting company. The clients first relation is that they freak out and usually try to blame the host. This is because they lack the information of how to keep their websites secure and that in most case's, it has nothing to do with the actual security of the server. Most web hosts regularly monitor for Kernel updates that are released any other exploits that could cause any kind of harm to their servers. These kinds of actions normally keep the global or overall security of the server locked down and hardened. However, The issue comes into play when (you) the client begins to use scripts which may use PHP, Perl, or other things on the server. While these may be up to date, scripts can easily be manipulated and abused to the point where the security of your entire account can be compromised.

Windows Vista Error: rundll32.exe causing Windows Vista Theme to default to Windows 2000 theme. Quick Fix!

Windows Vista defaulting to a Windows 2000 theme along with a nice error box that says "rundll32.exe"?

This is a pretty well known error with Windows Vista that will throw a error of "rundll32.exe" along with some other random symptoms such as your default Windows theme going to a Windows 2000 Theme, and even some or all of your Desktop items disappearing! This can also happen when making any kind of changes related to anything to do with changing settings to anything theme related in Windows Vista.

Luckily the fix for this can take only seconds to fix and doesn't require any computer knowledge at all. Simply follow the instructions listed below and you *should* be all set.

Instructions:
1.) Click on [Start]
2.) In the [Search] bar, type in: cmd
3.) Click [Enter] on your keyboard, or [OK].
4.) When the black command prompt window comes up, please do nothing but type in the following command:

sfc /scannow

Then click the [Enter] key on your keyboard.

5.) This system scan will take some time to complete, even up to 45 minutes depending on the amount of data on your computer and your computers speed and overall performance.
6.) After the scan has reported that everything is complete, you will need to then reboot your computer unless Windows does it for you. This may vary from system to system.
7.) After your computer comes back up from the reboot, you should be all set. If your still having issues with anything related to your Windows Vista Themes, or Vista Error rundll32.exe, please create a free account post a thread for help in our forums. http://forums.computerquestionhelp.com

If this guide did or didn't help you, we would appreciate your feedback by creating a free account (takes 1-2 minutes) and posting a comment at the bottom of this article. Thank...
